I wonder how he will look playing wing.
It's interesting that Van radio was talking about concerns with his skating in order to transition to the NHL - that he might need to add a step
At first I thought they were talking about Tryamkin.
Especially when you head over to last word on hockey and you read this about his skating from their scouting report on him:
Undersized at just five-foot-nine, Hoglander makes up for it with outstanding skating ability. He is lightning quick, with outstanding speed and acceleration. This allows him to get behind the defence and away for breakaways. Off the rush, Hoglander can take a defender wide and cut to the net. He also has excellent agility and edgework. His ability to make quick cuts and changes in direction makes things even harder for defenders who try to cover him. Hoglander has good core strength for his age. His lower body is well developed. This allows him to be strong on the puck and to battle along the boards and in front of the net against bigger opponents.
Left me believing 650AM doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. I look at him as a grittier version of Arvidsson.
