ok , so my 2013-14 isles with a 34-37 record are ready to accept challenge .
I will sim the challenge as soon as I can - if you beat me you are the new king of the castle and will be up against the next challenger

its a website that has a free version that allows you to sim a hockey game between past nhl teams .
friendly competition
someone names a team to get the competition started . I'll be the first and choose the 2013-2014 islanders that had a 34-37 win-loss record
to keep it interesting and fair we must pick a team that only had at best equal wins / losses for that particular season so that none of us are picking a dynasty era team . For example , a record of 35 wins 35 losses 12 ties would be alright and so would something like 30 wins 40 losses 12 ties .
so roll up your sleeves before submitting your challenge to ensure team you choose is at or below .500 in wins-losses for the particular season you choose (nevermind ties/so losses)
I'll post link to the play by play boxscore of result
heres and example of a boxscore 2013-14 isles v.s 1975-76 scouts . Isles won 5-0

fav part of boxscore
Penalty: 2 minute penalty on Steve Durbano for roughing
2 minute coincidental penalty on Thomas Hickey (13-14 Islanders) for roughing
That was just ugly!

I think I can figure out how to set this up on WiS when challenged. I actually just joined FC dynasty, as it's free, will check it out. Used to play Gridiron Dynasty there, but let that slip a while ago.

The equipment has hit the ice and the fists are flying. Keith Acton is taking the fight to Mark Howe. Right...right...left...and this one is over. The officials are helping Mark Howe to the box, while Keith Acton is practically doing a victory lap on his way to the bin.
