"The Vezina Trophy is an annual award given to the goalkeeper adjudged to be the best at this position as voted by the general managers of all NHL clubs."
If the NHL regular season has closed its doors for 2019-20, let's take a look at what the trophy situation might look like. Next up, the goalies.
Last years winner was Andrei Vasilevskiy TB

Vote went to Helle. But could have seen Vas pull it off again.
I voted for Hellebuyck. Great year from him considering the shakey D he plays behind. Vasilevskiy is a very close 2nd. He went on one hell of a run after his sketchy start.
On a side note, It will be interesting to see if Hellebuyck follows up this season with another good one, or follows his career pattern of one good one, one bad one.

I think it goes to Helle.
A shame Markstrom got hurt. had he gotten Vancouver into the playoffs he might have stolen it

I voted for Hellebuyck, but think that Rask might win the real trophy.
Hellebuyck for me.
Rask is great but much better team and does not play enough games for me.
Same thing with Vasilevsky.

Impressive what Hellebuyck has been able to do... he had pretty unspectacular D in front of him...
Rask leading the league in peripherals is pretty impressive.
I think I have to give it to Helly though!

Helly with the win. Wonder what the pre season odds on that were?

I really liked Rask's season... but his workload was a little easier and Boston played shoe-in playoff hockey in front of him all season.
Hellebuyck with that defense in front of him was some kinda valuable.
Good for him.
