Plain and simple. If Trump is “responsible” for the economy pre-Covid19, then he’s responsible for it now. Anything less is cherry-picking.

Now I personally believe it would be asinine to blame Trump for most of the current economic state, but that statement would also be true pre-Covid19. It’s either both or neither.

I am not going to look but I would guess that both Putin and Xi are heading up excellent economic times for their countries pre-covid as well.

^Classic stuff from the self proclaimed King of logic right here.
I might despise Trudeau, but I am not idiotic enough to blame him for the economic hardships Canadians will now face because of a foreign virus that he had no control over. That would be absurd.

But somehow that doesn't stop Trump bashers from claiming Trump is somehow responsible for the hardships coming to the US because of the Wuhan virus.
    Hmmmm

Reading. Reading.....would be good. An excellent skill to have. Fortunately, I believe you would have some time to work on that skill now.

Would like to point out however, both Trudeau's and Trump's response is something they had control over. And in 2020, we all have the receipts.

As for calling it the "Wuhan virus", I mean this:

But the real word is naivety. Thinking China's initial response is the reason this spread like this shows a comical level of naivety, which, I guess considering the source, checks out.

People can ignorantly call the virus what they want. The Presidents words are more powerful. It incites racism. Which is the only reason he calls it the China virus. He has done this his whole life.

He will be leaving the office just as ignorant and dumb as when he came in. Wonder how that will work out in prison.

The media and the left are licking their chops and it shows by the sheer amount of coverage Trump is getting throughout this pandemic. This is the event they have been waiting for to truly crucify Trump. I don't even think China got this level of coverage and they were the country in which the virus started in and covered it up.

At this point what's done is done. Whether you believe he responded appropriately or not, yet even in the midst of the real issues on trying to flatten the curve the radical left is obsessing over Trump. Every story and ravenous comment from the left on here or out there, just makes me want him to win more at this point. And make no mistake he will be reelected and when he is I am starting a thread on here to gloat for weeks about it.

Why would America want to endure another 4 years of his lies? He lies about everything. Just last week he says on fox news that he is cutting Medicare and Social Security, then tweets that he's not. He has handled the coronavirus miserably through his lies and it shows. The deficit is up 19% in the last year while pumping trillions to stablize the markets. Unemployment is no better, even though he says it is.

Trump is a terrible business man. His old man bailed him out twice. He has ripped off contracters by the dozens. Owning a casino is like having a licence to print money yet he has managed to bankrupt 4 of them and he will bankrupt America. He has spent $150 million at his golf resorts. He's a sexual predator. He has insulted our allies including NATO while befriending communist regimes.

He won't be re-elected. He will be going to prison.

Because Republicans will vote for whoever is running for them. As I've said already a few times, they aren't voting for Trump, they are voting for their candidate and voting against the Democrats. The Democrats are voting for whoever is running for them, and will vote against Republicans.

It's less about voting for the person than it is for the party. It all come down to how many of the party faithful get out to vote, and how many undecided are willing to go with one party or the other.

Sadly, it was all so predictable and perhaps some folks who have been trying to warn about the dangers of having a man like Trump in the White house are justifiably angry with those who continue to support him. When you have a known con man in the oval office who claims to know more than scientists and generals, who cares solely about 'his' economy and his re-election campaign, and who lies about everything from porn stars to health exams, you have a recipe for disaster. Trump has been warned by his own party about squandering his credibility in a time of crisis with his continued dishonesty. It is no wonder only 20% of the population (including republicans) believe anything the President says in regard to the coronavirus (https://www.npr.org/2020/03/17/81668...on-coronavirus).

No this is not a time to gloat. Nobody should be gloating. This is a time for sober reflection. A time for many people to swallow their pride and finally admit they might have made a mistake.

It's as simple as Team A vs Team B, and then a group of people that either don't vote or can swing in either direction. Not everyone that voted Trump did so because they are racist and sexist. A lot voted for him because they didn't like the other candidate.

    I think it's happening again.

China is the entire reason for this crisis, their initial response was to lie, cover it up and hide it from the world. If they had asked for help from the WHO right away instead of jailing the doctor who discovered it, the world would have had a 2 month head start.

They are still lying about their situation - if you think their numbers are going down you are beyond naive.

The Chinese government is uniquely and solely responsible for creating the crisis we are in now. The rest of the world reacted poorly for the most part, but that would have been a lot different if at any point in the debacle China had been honest. But they haven't, aren't and won't be. We all know it.

The SJW white-guilted virtue signalers crying racism and xenophobia seem to think that governments are a race. Because they say so.
