I admit I do not know much. But i googled heavy metal and that song came up and I knew it was about sleeping. So I figured it was the perfect pick for responding to ‘zzzzzz’

I love me some Enter Sandman.. That song pumped me up for hockey games as a youngster!! Seeing them live two years ago was awesome!!

But I agree with DD, not exactly "heavy" metal.. But the irony is hilarious PH!!

I too love the song... I just don’t know if it’s heavy metal or rock.

For the first few seasons in the Shark Tank (after they moved from the Cow Palace) Enter Sandman was the Sharks warmup skate song. I did some work for them off and on and one evening before a game with the Caps Al Iafrate and one of the Caps staff were in the hall having a smoke and the staff guy was saying he loved Mettalica and Iafrate said “**** that shit - I’d rather go to a Pearl Jam concert!”

Sorry, I didn’t mean for that to come across as me sounding like a dick. I’ve listened to metal since I was a kid and love all different genres of metal and hardcore so naturally I don’t consider Metallica to be very heavy. I’d consider them hard rock.

Well, I'm very happy with my draft. Out of 24 teams in the NHL playoffs, I own the largest share what amounts to 3 (1+1+0.5+0.5) of them (15%). For a draft with 13 teams in it I would say that puts me in a good spot, especially with the randomness we are likely to see this year.
Most Flyers (4), most Canucks (4), tied for most Preds - having the entire JoFA line (3), tied for most CBJs (3).
If three of those four teams make it to the next round and CBJ doesn't play PHI, then I'm looking good.

Yes it really will come down to which teams advance - obvious I guess.
Non-play in teams:
Avalanche - 1 (a good one at that)
Flyers - 1 (goalies)
Clearly upset oriented

Hurricanes - 2
Jets - 4
Preds - 1
Canucks - 2
Canadiens - 3

If the Jets go far Zorro has one more than I do (including the goalies). I like the 2 Canucks I snagged. Toffoli was a PPG player in his short time in Van after the trade. Those players should keep me in the mix with EB should the Canucks go far. It’ll be down to the Habs and Hurricanes to bring it home. Although tfan is right there with Carolina players. Ultimately I think it’ll come down to upsets and the Canadiens for me. Hmmmm. Glad it’s not a money league.
