Stamkos Dropped
Well, after being dead last for most of the season, I've clawed my way up to 6th place. It cost me 33 of my 40 moves.
That being said, I'm probably not going to get anywhere near the finals. I just saw that Stamkos was dropped. Do I pick him up and stash him for a keeper next season? Is Kovalchuk the one to go? Or do I just save my moves now and see how far I can go in the playoffs?

Ya I'd pick him up and stash him for next season at 6th place. I get burns can be a beast in this format but I'd consider going all forwards next year:

We can only keep 5 players for a maximum of three seasons. Currently, I can keep Pettersson and Kucherov for two more seasons after this and I can keep Hall and Burns for only one more season. Does that change the five you would pick?

Right. I would as well. But seeing as I can only keep Hall and Burns for one more year, would it be better to drop both of them? Stamkos would replace Hall, but who would I keep in place of Burns? Both Konecny and Miller are having career seasons. I doubt I could get better than those two if I try to trade Burns and Hall during the off season. So my five keepers would tentatively be:
Kucherov, Stamkos, Pettersson, Huberdeau, and J.T. Miller or Konecny.

Miller is so good in multi-cat. Even if his production drops next year he'll still be a star in your league.

For your keepers I’d replace Hall with Stamkos in a second.
The other options to keep Huberdeau, Miller or Konecny are worth considering but there will be time for that later.

It doesn't change my five as I think those five give you the best chance at going for it next year. In limited keepers I'm a big believer in top end forwards as they are the most consistent with top end production. You don't have a goalie I want to keep and Burns is getting older with Karlsson clearly the no 1 guy when healthy with his new contract. I'd be fine re drafting burns or another top d man early, I don't think he falls off a cliff.
I'd also be keeping Stamkos for the next 3 years almost certainly. I see him as arguably your second best keeper behind Kucherov and he's definitely top three, if healthy. Go for the win next year and worry about keepers for the year after this time next season.
