I would stand pat here.
Rask, Josi, Rantanen, and either Tkachuk or Miller.

Burns should also be an option for that last spot. If you can deal Burns for Hedman, I would do it and keep Hedman.
Just got asked if I would be willing to trade Rantanen in my 10 team keeper (keep 4) league. The first 4 rounds in next year’s draft are our keepers, so the first pick we get is in the 5th round. I’m trying to evaluate whether it’s worth it and wether he would be a keeper for me. I’m looking to win it this year and I’m currently sitting comfortably in 2nd place.
The offer I got was either:
His Hedman for my Rantanen or a 5th round (first non-keeper in draft) for Rantanen.
My current D are: Burns, Nurse, Pionk, Edler, Makar, and Josi. Other players of interest he has include: Stamkos, Crosby, Marder, PLD
I think the answer would all depend on who my keepers would be.
Based on this season’s stats to date, my top players are, according to Fantasy Hockey Geek:
1. Rask
5. Roman Josi
8. B. Tkatchuk
12. E. Kane
14. JT Miller
16. Tom Wilson
35. Giroux
36. Nurse
42. Edler
53. Goodrow
54. Burns
Hedman is ranked at 18.
Based on last season, the top players one my team were:
6. Burns
7. E. Kane
17. Rantanen
19. Radulov
31. Nurse
33. Josi
37. Wilson
38. Giroux
45. ROR
59. Edler
69. B. Tkachuk
137. JT Miller
Whereas Hedman was ranked at 44.
I think in terms of keepers, What do you think would be top 4 to keep? Is a trade like this worth it?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
In your own words, your looking to win this year. So lets look at it from that perspective. Having Rantanen on the shelf for weeks is not going to help you win. So you suck it up and hope for the best or try and find an adequate replacement. The question is whether Hedman is the answer. Typically you would be looking for another forward not a defencemen. I'd really like to see all your scoring cats and know were you are weaker and can improve? That said, I can't help thinking that Crosby might be a better option than Hedman, like maybe a way better option, dude's only put up 17 points in his last 10 games?
Your 4 would then be Rask, Josi, Crosby and for me, Tkachuk. That doesn't look too bad to me? Perhaps something to think about. Everyone knows that Sid is old and done, the other GM would jump all over getting a young Rantanen for an old fart (:
