Your thoughts on my intented keepers plz

In my signature salary cap league, what are your thoughts on my intended keepers in bold in my signature?

Not sure if you just didn't get around to updating your sig, or if you weren't aware, but Josi just got himself a big fat contract to the tune of $9,059,000. Does that change anything for you?

It does, but I was still tending towards keeping him because of his skills and the fact that defensemen of his level are quite rare in my deep league..

I can see still keeping Josi at his new price (Carlson seems a close comparable in terms of at least the early years of the contract being worthwhile. It's Gustafsson's new contract that would make me hesitate.

Also, isn't Gustafsson gonna get a reasonable contract after his disappointing actual season?

The other contract I don't like much is Giroux. 8.275 is a lot of coin for a guy who may or may not hit 50 pts this year. He's not getting any younger and I'm not sure a bounce back to the kind of numbers that justifies that salary is going to happen. Arguably Dvorak will give you those kind of numbers (and perhaps way more) for half the cap hit? Something to consider.

Is Giroux still worth it at 8.275? His production has taken a serious dip this year. I don't know who you would keep instead, just saying. Also, I would caution against keeping Gustafsson. I think he's closer to the 40-pt D-man he is this year than the 60-pt D-man he was last year, and he's getting a raise this summer. Might sound crazy, but would Sandin be a horrible keep?

I would be looking at Bishop (not sure why you're not keeping him) and Sandin instead of Giroux and Gus. I think Gus gets at least $5M per season, which will price him out of the bargain range for you.
