Bjorkstrand. Not close. DeAngelo has far more competition to be relevant for Rangers, and Bjorkstrand hasn’t reached his peak years yet.
I know comparing a forward and D-man is sometimes tough, but would would you prefer in a vacuum, Bjorkstrand or DeAngelo? Both would be keepers.

while not disagreeing the same can be said for DeAngelo who is all of 24 years of age and blossoming into a top ten offensive defender. Also more competition sure but no other defender on the Rangers has his complete package and I watch the team a lot believe me. Fox is great in his own right but DeAngelo wipes the floor with him as far as skating ability, Trouba is a two-way defender and on a paltry defense overall needs to be more defensive oriented.
For OP, need to see your full roster to make the call. Bjork could very well be a premier scorer in this league but we've seen this story from him in years past, DeAngelo is playing for a contract currently though so one must take that into consideration and where he ends up because the Rangers may very well not be able to pay him.

I think this is close. Deangelo is playing for a contract and has a history of behavioural issues, both of which could lead to regression moving forward. Bjorkstrand still has a bit to prove. Really depends on your roster needs and the amount of risk you are willing to absorb.

As said, we need more information here. Roster? Which League? It all depends on what you need. Hell, I'd be looking at keeping both these guys in most leagues. These guys are close enough, there is not one that stands out big time compared to the other IMO.
