I had 3 goalies but scooped up Igor S so he his now my keeper and that throws a wrench into my playoff push.
I want to upgrade my tenders. I have "them aint CCMS they're GruBauers" "Light me up one of them Mackenzie Blackwoods" and " You F'n Khudobin me"
Goalies who may be available due to the GMs not making playoffs and should be selling are.
Jarey
Price
Kuemper
Greiss.
I dont think Kuemper will be available but you guys think trying to upgrade to any of these guys will be worth it? ALso need 3 starts per week so I need to keep that into consideration keeping Igor S and slimming down to 3 tenders.
Thanks

Lets say I trade Blackwood and what ever for Greiss. Now I have IGOR S. (keeper) Grubauer, Greiss and Khubodin.....drop or trade Khubodin so I can rock 3 goalies. Now is Greiss that much more of an upgrade then Khubodin?
And is rocking 4 goalies that insane? No one else in this league is doing it but the way the NHL is rolling with 60/40 split games is it so idiotic? More games = more wins, better chance at shutouts probably worse GAA and Save % tho and missing out on a player.

The way I see it, you’ve got a 1A (Grubs), I don’t know what the heck to call him (Blackwood), 1B (khudo) and 1B/1C (Igor). Greiss is a strong 1B, possibly 1A on a team with coaches that work goalie magic, so he’s a definitive upgrade on Blackwood. And I think you rock 4 goalies because you don’t have clear cut starters on high performing teams.

In talks now but looking like
My Landeskog, Blackwood, 5th and 7th for his Malkin, Greiss, 16,14
(5th is highest pick you can trade) and I think he will want that 7th bumped up but even so....pull this trigger right?

My only hesitation is Malkin's injury history. Neither he or Landeskog are keepers for you, so if you're up for rolling the dice on Malkin's health this year, I like the deal because you're getting better at both F & G while only giving up draft picks.

Greiss.
The NYI play 4 games the first week of standard yahoo league playoffs, 4 games the 2nd week and 7 games in the final double week.
Even on platoon he will have starts most likely and his numbers are pretty spectacular.
The beauty is since he is on a timeshare in the crease he will likely be cheaper to buy than a goalie who owns the crease.
Now if tristan Jarry is available, that will cost but he is stealing that net from under Murray's nose.

Good to know about the islanders during fantasy playoff time. Im still waiting to hear from GM about my offer. Even if he declines I'll up the ante.
In a 20 team league keeping only 4 players, I have to think giving away two of your first 3 picks is crazy steep. Are you that close to winning it all this season to sacrifice the next one? I'd still probably try to go after Greiss over Jarry for four reasons:
1. Jarry was stealing the nets - but most recently it's looked like Murray taking them back bit.
2. Murray has a VERY good playoff track record. I feel like they'd want to get him into a groove the last month of the regular season to hit the ground running in the playoffs.
3. Pittsburgh has a lot of B2Bs down the stretch -that means whether you have Murray or Jarry, whomever is not getting the lion share down the stretch is playing all the B2Bs plus whenever else the starter needs a breather, and
4. It should cost you less.

I'm in second place and I have 2-fifth round picks. So not throwing all my chips in.
And agree about Jarry and Murray taking his net back..... And like you said, way more costly.
Still waiting on GM.....
Executed. Thanks for advice boys. I'll Rep you guys when I'm on computer. Can't Rep for some reason on my mobile phone.?!?!?
