I thought it was over after the time lost due to COVID but man, this guy keeps proving me wrong time and time again... and I love it!
Same, I've owned him for 1 playoff push, but it was a weekly lock league, and never got to start him because he wasn't performing that yr.
I know we're all hoping he gets it from the Ovi spot too. That would be the cherry on the top if he pass Gretzky from the Ovi spot.

You're not alone. I've owned Ovi in my keeper league since the beginning and finally started seriously trying to trade him away the past 3 years as my team's window closed and was in need of a major overhaul in many places. Even from contending teams, it's proven impossible to get anything remotely resembling a worthwhile offer because everyone has had the feeling of "this is it, he's falling off a cliff starting this/next year." And here we are, something like 133 goals in the last 205 or so games.
Can't say I expected him to continue along seemingly untouched by father time either. As they say, sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make (or, in my case, the ones I've been unable to make despite my repeated best efforts).

Ovi fell to 37th in one of my leagues this year. And it is a league that gives 2x value for gioals and counts STP's shots and hits. So... yeah.. That is good example of just how washed up many people thought he was going into this season... I am happy to say I am the one who finally and ecstatically grabbed him.
I fully understand that a slowdown is coming, but it is just remarkable to see him out there playing the way he does at his age.
Truly one of the all-time greatest players.

25 behind Jagr. Hoping he gets there this season.
I still own him in nearly all of my fantasy keeper/dynasty leagues, got in early and have reaped the benefits for many years. Have thought of trying to trade him away over the last couple of years in advance of his inevitable decline (or sudden departure), but just never pursued that path too seriously. Most people were looking for deals and I just kept the faith...and OV just keeps on rolling. Russian machine never break. I'm riding this out until the end, whenever that comes.

With 67 games left this season, Ovi on his current pace would pass Gretzky 9 games into the 2024-25 season if he plays in all 82games.
So goal watch is for 2024-26 seasons. But since Ovi is Ovi, so it'll happen before the 200 game mark lol.

unbelieveable what this guy is doing at 36 years old. most players are fringe players at this point, some stars dont even make it to 35.
12 goals in 15 games nbd
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
