Kubalik
Kreider
Pearson
Kovalchuk
Garland ( who I like as dark horse)
Have some injuries and need to grab best available forward from Waiver Wire. Mostly just focused on production for rest of this year. Points only league (goals and assists each worth 1 point). Best available options appear to be:
Kubalik, McCann, Kovalchuk, Pearson, Kreider.
Who is best pickup? Any other dark-horse options?

Can we stream this spot with the hot hand or limited moves? If we can stream it im going with Kovalchuk who's getting pp1 with 20 min a night and scoring like it's 2008/09. Move on when he cools off but his deployment right now is exactly what he's designed for, with a solid historical track record of putting up points.

No streaming. It will be my last pickup of the year. So need to grab the guy who will be the best over the rest of the season.
Kubalik - seems to be clicking with Toews

Pts only W=2 OL=1 SO=3 Auction Draft
WHL - est 2016 Expansion - Glasgow Kiss - 24 teams

Even with the last move of the year, give me Kovalchuk. I am pretty sure he's got that deployment the rest of the way.

tantalizing names but cannot turn away from Pearson's long standing run of production until it cools off.

Agree. It at least re-enforced for me that it was a tough call and I wasn't overlooking an obvious choice. To close the loop, I went with Kubalik. Hoping he's found his right fit on that line. Thanks for your input, all.
Theyre all pretty close and all come with a degree of uncertainty. Kovi, Kuba, Pearson are a dice roll for me.
