despite how good Rust has been I will take the guy not reliant on elite line mates for current production in Hall.
Is Hall an upgrade over Rust ?
I keep reading how Rust is over achieving and moving him for more of a sure thing .

As impressive as Rust has been this year I am not at all sold that he is the same caliber of player as Hall. So IMO, ya, Hall is an upgrade on Rust.

Hall is a big upgrade on Rust. Rust is running hot while Hall has the ability to drive offense on his own at a very high level. Rust does not drive offense the way Hall does and never has. Rusts only chance to out produce Hall is with a short term small sample size or if Hall gets injured.

If it's for the team in your Sig, you already have Connor and Dadonov at LW. Yes Hall is an upgrade of Rust beyond this year. This year, not sure.
I may be of the low percent here, but every year you see a player play beyond their means for the entire season. I think it's Rust this year as he's gelled quite nicely with Malkin and is planted on PP1.
If Hall is not a keeper of your 6, I stick with what you got, ride the hot Rust out and if slows down, move in Dadonov.
Rust also helps a bit more in Hits and Blocks.
However, if the right offer is up, doesn't hurt to do it.
