I think he can keep up about a 40 point pace, and if it's a points only pool definitely over Montour. However, in a multi-cat pool, it depends on the categories and what you feel you need.
Is Girard finally taking that next step we've all been waiting for? After a slow start and particularly quiet November, he's started really piling up the points. He's also taking more shots. What are people's expectations - can he sustain a 40+ point pace moving forward?
Also, would you rather have him over Montour ROS?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I like Girard over Montour at this point.
In a multi cat league, they are both a bit one dimensional but I trust Girard and his situation more this year.
As far as what I'm looking for, Im in multicat but there are no good all around players available so I'm just looking for someone who can put up some points, preferably PPP. Montour has disappointed after a fairly strong start to his Sabres career so I jetisoned him. Doesn't seem to be getting the opportunities with Dahlin and Ristolainen ahead of him.

Not even producing in peripherals as he did last year.

I like Girard a lot. He'll find ways to stay relevant. He's also decent at blocks and SOG.

I agree with others and think he can play at a ~40 pt pace. Not great in peripherals but he is on pace for over 100 blocks so there's that. Not great SOG/hit totals by any means but I would take him over Montour ROS. Montour just isn't getting the ice time and opportunities in Buffalo and his production/peripherals are suffering because of it.
The assist machine keeps rolling along. Thanks folks.

Last night he was on PP1 for what it's worth... At least for the second half of the game.
He's been rolling lately. Makar is still the go to guy on the pp, but it looks like maybe he ll or might start getting some more number one pp time.
