Shesterkin recall is not related to goaltending health issues. No word at this point, team practices at 11, but expect Shesterkin to get the assignment tomorrow at MSG v Colorado. They didn't bring him here to dance.

All 3 goalies practiced today and there are no AHL games until Wednesday. I'm starting to think it's just NYR bringing him up for some practice and a bit of extra cash in his pocket. A "take your top goalie prospect to work day" sort of thing.

To me the Sharks make the most sense for Georgiev. He would be both a today and tomorrow kind of investment to them. Could be in the mix for them for many years.

I would agree with you on this, Henrik being traded is basically unrealistic with his term and full no-clause. Georgiev certainly an upgrade over Dell and perhaps even Jones based off his shaky play for some time now. To trade the likes of Henrik would take a scenario like this in Arizona albeit closer to playoffs where a contender loses their starter and the backup is not one that evokes great confidence.
