Cut Gustafsson for any of the following FA gems? (REP)
Hey guys, looks like Gustafsson is losing PP time again in Chicago, with Boqvist eating up his minutes. He does have 6 points in his last 10 games, but there are some other kinda enticing options out there.
Here are my current options on the FA front:

- Dumba (is his production ever going to come back?)

In a points league, with limited keepers, I'd probably just keep Gustafsson.
If this was a full keeper, I'd drop Gus for Dumba without question. But I don't think Dumba turns it around this year. Picking up Buff is interesting...but not enough evidence of a comeback for me.

I would also lean towards keeping Gustafsson, however, looking at your d core, Gus is definitely the streamer so I wouldn't blame you for picking up a player on a heater. I just don't see that type of player there yet.

Since no one listed here is going to be a keeper for you, I would probably use the Gustafsson position as a streaming position. Play the hot hands, guys with the most games, etc. Even with his poor season, Gustafsson did enough last season to price himself out of town next year; and there aren't too many teams worse off than Chicago when it comes to needing a Dman to quarterback their PP. It's been a decade-long search for them.

I would agree except that Gus has lost PP1 to Boqvist. Hell, and I think Keith is running PP2. Gustafsson is finally producing so the coach takes him off the PP. Go figure.

Back to OP... I really like what I've seen from Marino in my settings. He's a potential snag for me if I can figure out which of Dumba and Gus might get going.
