b by a long shot. even if you dont believe in byram due to players ahead of him stealing pp time. he can easily be flipped.

Generally I would move on and not care however I am the commish of this league (and I commission a few leagues) and this one is in season one. To make sure I haven’t lost my widsdom on player values and anger league members I wanted to make sure it was him that was a bit off base. This thread is proving just that.
I get that. I just think you should distance yourself from the trade talks before re-evaluating. The thread title makes it seem like you're trying to win the argument. I would advise not to do that. How long do argue before you compromise and start considering Dube + 1st + prospect?

to me offer A is complete garbage ...almost disrespectful...

Offer B is too much.. i think Byram + frist rounder + Second would be decent...i would not move Kakko for Panarin.

    Offer A is completely stupid

Offer B is too much. Two of Kakko/Byram/1st + 2nd/depth prospect/player is probably more reasonable.

I am a HUGE Flames fan but wouldn't even entertain A. I like Dube but I don't see him amounting to anything more than a top 9 - maybe 3rd liner at best. Panarin is one of the most attractive names in fantasy hockey, especially in a non-salary cap Keeper league and A is a bit insulting. Actually, it's very insulting. I make my share of bad offers, but that is not one I would propose, nor would I accept. That says a lot because I've accepted some VERY bad offers before LOL! B is a lot to give up, but if you are buying a Lambo, you want brand new and it'll cost you. B in my opinion is what I would want for Bread Man.

Well I'm late to the dance here but it's one more tick in the box, I can't see how anyone in their right mind would consider option A as being worthy of consideration. As some have said, it's borderline insulting.

The bread man or a similar type player should fetch a great prospect or two and a first round pick. Option A is not even close, insulting really. Option B seems reasonable. If a league is to be healthy and be fun top teams in win now should have no problem giving great picks and future talent for current stars.

In fairness I was in one of your leagues before and you had some different scoring systems compared to a standard league, so I think setting may tell more info here.

But in general, I agree with most here that these 2 "offers" are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Let's hear your comments guys.
Team gunning for a championship should, in my opinion, offer a top prospect, high 1st round pick if available and a roster player who has some relevance in whatever setup their league has. For a player with the skillset that Panarin has, the return SHOULD be significant. Just my 2 cents.

I recently joined a Dynasty and a few weeks in this guy offers me Jordan Greenway and a 2nd for Pastrnak. Like what could that offer possibly generate, what a rude way to greet a new owner into the league. I asked the commish if he veto's trades like that if say i had an aneurysm and accepted and he said no only if it's obvious collusion. kind of frustrating

I had this conversation in my league with another GM. He asked about Tavares (im not rebuilding but always open to trade most anyone). I asked for “one prospect with potential to be JT, one player I could use now that is above waiverwire players, in other words a bubble keeper, and a high pick 1/2 round depending on the other players”.

So way more than A but not quite B.

1st round pick, young roster player (Comtois/Vrana type player) and highend prospect (Zegras/Caufield/Ty Smith type prospect). I think this would be my ask or close to it. My ask possibly would be slightly more (another mid-round pick etc.) as Panarin is still quite young with 5+ more years of elite production left.
