I’m curious as well. He is now available on waivers in our league. Gotta be worth a try.
I know Oliver Ekman Larsson never really took the next step but I view him as good depth option 40-45 points, 10-15 goals and decent peripherals. Looking at his raw data he's getting less ice time and isn't producing near as much. I was going to maybe offer a 4th in my 1st league in sig but doesn't seem worth it.

I own him in a league where you have to start 6 D. I don't really see many other cases where I would want him.
The team has relayed on defense, I think they've adjusted his style to be more passive than aggressive. I haven't seen many of his games, but his shots are down, he's not as big as a negative player, his blocks are up, his Corsi is worst suggesting he's not pushing the play anymore.
Could just be how he's being deployed now. And it won't change until they start losing.

I would put him above Spurgeon, Pulock’s and Nurse and still think his trade value is higher than these guys as well, especially if/when he gets hot. After owning him in a keeper league for 3 years I was constantly disappointed - given that he never took that “next step” and likely never will - that being said if you look at his numbers and that’s your baseline, you should be fine. He is currently on the top PP in Arizona as well which cannot be said for those other 3 guys.
I definitely don’t feel like I miss the guy this year at all though haha
I had him on my roster for many years. He usually leaves you wanting more. He goes on cold stretches, but he should end up getting around 40 points. He's good in some categories and bad in others. At this point he kinda is what he is - a solid if unspectacular 40 point guy with the upside for 50. I don't know if less icetime is necessarily bad for him long term; in the past AZ has relied so heavily on him that he just hasn't been able to give it 100% every shift. He has enough of a track record where I'd be willing to wait out 2 point in 8 game cold streaks, knowing he'll probably get 6 in the next 8.
