Would you try this and if so who would you would package with Wheels?!

I would simply make the offer open to him to decide what D he wants. Say you'll give Wheeler and his choice of one of the following D and see what he says.

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
