Buy Low on Toews?

Anybody think I should sell (somewhat) high on Olofsson to buy low on Toews in a trade? Or is Toews washed up this year? Olofsson has been decent, but a bit hot and cold.

I wouldn't. Other than 2 years in his career, he's never been a good fantasy hockey player.

Let me expand a little on this. I read my post and it said something other than what I wanted to say. Right now he is .5 PPG and he is usually .85 PPG so he is definitely a buy low candidate.

Toews has a huge name - captain in Chicago - played for Canada and is a huge part of their success. However, his fantasy stats aren't in line with his name. I have found that Toews owners frequently over value him because of his great success and his name. I often find that they treat him as a PPG player or more and Toews just isn't that guy. If you can get him for less than .85 PPG, then go for it, but I am very skeptical that you will be able to.

I am all about selling high and buying low, but usually not in the same trade.

Buying low means paying under market value for a player that someone wants to deal. Selling high means getting more for a player than he's probably worth.

I dont have an issue buying Toews low, as I dont think he's washed up, but I am not trading away a kid I could sell him on and possibly get a good return for.

I am buying low on Toews. At least I am trying to. He has had better 2nd halfs throughout his career.
