Changes to my team - advice please - rep given

There are plenty of guys on the WW that have 16 and 17 points:

Anthony Beauvillier - C,LW
Dylan Strome - C
Phillip Danault - C
Brett Connolly - LW,RW
Oskar Lindblom - LW

Noteable mention
Jakub Voracek - RW

I need to drop someone to get Trocheck off the IR. The drop would probably be Palmieri, maybe Radulov. Either way it is a RW, I am little light there and a little center heavy. The other problem with those two is that they get you PIMS + other stats.

I could put Kucherov on IR to get Trocheck off, but I expect Kucherov back any day and I can't leave him languishing there so I have to decide what to do.

At a minimum I have to drop at least 1 player. I can also swap another player or two for WW pickups. I could directly drop a C and it would probably be Trocheck. All my other centers are performing better (Karlsson, Larkin, Kopitar), are finally playing (Benn) or have the potential to do so (Couturier).

PS - I am also thinking of a guy like Barclay Goodrow. He has 3 positions, + PIMS + shots and 11 points.

I’d say Radulov. Less ppp.
I’m not big on you having 4 goalies but I realize the Islanders tandem is fire right now. Otherwise I’d say drop one of them.

Radulov's performance last night (2G, 1A) makes this much harder.

I am not big on 4 goalies either. Last week, all 4 goalies had 100% overlap so I got no value for having 4. Hell, I got no value for having 3. The problem is that both NYI goalies are my two best goalies right now. I can't drop Vas so the only guy I can drop is Hart. I am so worried that he is a game or 2 away from shining.

Radulov seems to have turned a corner, as has Dallas in general.

In looking at my league's scoring, Radulov and Palmeiri are both top 50 in the league for the season. They have great PIMs, they have above average shots, have good +/- and are scoring PPG and PPA. Even though their overall scoring is a little low, they make up for it in the other areas.

I am changing my thinking now. I think my drop has to be a center (Trocheck or Larkin) or a goalie (Hart right now is really the only choice). Since making a mistake on a goalie is so much more painful than making one on a skater, I am thinking that my drop has to be Larkin or Trocheck.

They are very similar in their output this year (taking into consideration the Trocheck injury), but for some reason I prefer Larkin.

I think Trocheck is my drop. However, given that he is on IR+, I don't need to do anything until I have another reason to do so. I might try to trade him and another of my players for an improved player.

I am basically looking for good players who are underperforming right now. If these all get rejected I will probably reach out and try to acquire Crosby.

oh i did read your sig and missed that part. so 3 keepers and you own Vas. He is 25 years old...by the time you need to replace him Hart will be 30 +...not great strategy imo. I would still drop Hart here.

League rules say I have to drop Vas at the end of the season. I also have to drop Kucherov.
