    Getzlaf had an emergency root canal this morning in Toronto, so he won\'t play tonight in case anyone is wondering why.

    Just as they dropped the puck the TSN call guys elaborated about what happened.

    Apparently, some old dental work Getzlaf had become heavily infected, requiring the emergency root canal to clear it out. Hopefully it\'s only tonight he misses and the infection clears quickly.

    well he did take part in the pre-game skate on tuesday so it cant really be that bad... i think i read on rotoworld that he will be back tomorrow, and mcgoo, at least you dont have getzlaf AND perry as dead weight right now :S ...
