Your league isn't large enough to gamble on Reimer.
Is he worth a prospective pickup? Assuming he does and is, who would I drop? He started again tonight and is having a very nice 1st period.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:
G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
D - Yandle, DeAngelo
W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
IR+ - Tarasenko

Might as well ask if Monteambeault is going to steal the starting gig from Bobrovsky while we're here.

I agree with this.
I claimed Reimer off waivers last year in a league that rosters 900 players, due to having crap depth in net. My #2 at the time was Anders Nilsson, #3 was either Sparks or Stalock, and all of those I claimed from free agency after taking the team over before the year started.
Your league rosters 200 players, and you'd be dropping a goalie who has been better than Reimer every year he's been in the league to do so, assuming you aren't dropping Vasilevskiy (who Reimer admittedly was better than one year).
I'd hold off on a speculative add in net - your goaltending is fine.

Reimer got the win tonight but still allowed 3 passed him. Carolina was lighting the lamp like they were afraid it was going to be a blackout or something. I don't think Reimer takes away the starting gig from Mrazek. I think Reimer is a solid back up goalie.
I'd have to watch a few Carolina games with him in the pipes to let you know. if he can get some momentum he could take a few starts away but at the end of the day its a 60-40 split since Mrazek isnt a workhorse .Saros is just an injury away from being a starter on an elite team .
If Reimer is the starting goalie for Carolina then the Hurricanes are in trouble. Mrazek is the guy and the only one that should move him out of the #1 position is ANed. That may happen next year depending on how Mrazek plays this year.
I just can't trust Reimer anymore. He had plenty of chances in Florida to take over when Luongo sucked or was hurt. I know it's a different team but he would come in and look AWFUL.
All due respect, it's not like Mrazek is a rockstar himself. Carolina has a very good team and a very good system in front of both goalies, making both look better than they truly are.
To answer the OPs question, it's not out of the question to see Reimer steal the starting job, but I think both will start enough games to make neither really valuable in your league due to it's size. The only way it's worth your while is if you own both and change them up as the team changes them for starts. Since you don't own Mrazek, I don't think it's worth losing someone like Saros for Reimer.

Less than a 10% that Reimer takes Mrazek’s gig.
In 2016-17 Reimer' sv% was .920, in 2017-18 it was .913. Both numbers much better than what Mrazek posted in Detroit and Philadelphia in those seasons. I think Mrazek has the inside track here coming off last season, but remember that a year ago it was Mrazek who had looked awful of late.
I agree with this. While I think it's a possibility Reimer gets more starts, I don't think it will be enough to justify the move.
