Fowler or Pionk?

Hey, I have Fowler as my 6th defencemen. The categories in my league are this: G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, FW, Hit & Blk. I want to know would it be better to pick up Pionk? Thanks

I was thinking of that. The only thing that scares me a bit is the +/-.

Pionk’s +/- may not be bad, as he plays in a pairing with Morrissey (when he returns), and often the WPG 1st line. I’d be far more worried about the Jets’ other D pairs. Pionk would be my pick of the two.

Ya i would add Pionk i have tried to get him in all of my leagues and he is already taken in all of them

I have got to bring this up again.

The Winnipeg Jets Defence looks like a disaster and paper thin especially without Morrissey now and Buff for God knows how long. This really scares me on adding Pionk. In tonights game against Pittsburgh basically Pionk is the only D guy that I have heard of on the Jets . I know Cam Fowler is the greatest but is he a safer grab right now or other options like T.J. Brodie or Jared Spurgeon good options? The only thing that scares me about Spurgeon is the +/-.

Never mind Pionk has given me two more reason to like him and they are 2 goals tonight. His offense might just put him ahead of those other defencemen I listed.

You just mentioned a positive for Pionk, not a negative. If the Jets defense wasn't paper thin Pionk wouldn't be playing almost 25 min/game and lots of PP minutes...

I didn't think of it that way. You are right.

Pionk for me. He's got a chance right now to do what he can to establish consistent PP time, and it's looking decent for him in that regard.

After all that I lost out on Pionk and ended up with Brady Skjei which I feel is better than Fowler as well.
