If you pick Schneider you have to be ready for possible nagging injuries plus Blackwood winning the job out right. I don't think ANA will be that bad and I'm going with the more reliable of the 2, so Gibby.
W = 2 pts
SO = 1 extra pt
I realize Gibson is the superior goalie at this point but I'm leaning towards Schneider for this season. I just can't envision being able to start Gibson with any confidence playing for a 1st overall draft pick contender in Anaheim, coached by Dallas Eakins.

Both have health issues and concerns about how well their team will perform. When in doubt, take the better goalie, and that's Gibson no question.

I think Blackwood steals the 60/40 split v.s Schneider .
Gibson probably still flirts with 30 wins even if the Ducks are .500
Gibson here. Scheinds really needs to do something this year to gain any confidence back from the masses of Poolies.

Gibson by a landslide for me. As previously stated I think the looming threat of Blackwood taking over the job looms large.

I would take Gibson, but I think many are counting out Schneider way too early. Big year for him coming up.
