Laine is a tier above Boeser. That said, that tier crumbled down a bit last season and it is yet to be seen if Laine will remain a tier above Boeser after this season.
I am still taking Laine here, but it is certainly a possibility that Boeser overtakes Laine in value in the coming seasons.

It’s a tough call at this point because Laine is off to a hot start, but the million dollar question is whether he sustains or falls off like last year. Similarly, Boeser is in the middle of a slow start, but if/when will it end? If I owned either of these guys I probably wouldn’t trade them 1 for 1 for the other right now.

Laine for sure. He was discussed to be picked number 1 for a while because he has elite skill. His release blows my mind. The way he dangled last game and was setting up teammates was unreal. If you want to call it rolling the dice with Laine then Roll that mutha dice! Much higher ceiling on better offensive team.
If he does slow down brutally like last year then they will find him a new home and he will thrive!

Laine! He had a down year but was somewhat consistent each quarter, with the exception of the second quarter where he was a beast. Winnipeg is going to have to score a lot of goals this year to win games, I’d bet on Laine getting a marge chunk of them.
A bad year for Laine is a normal year for Boeser.

Another vote for Laine. Boeser is a damn good hockey player but Laine has demonstrated he can be something special.
