For me it's Binnington.
Who should I draft as my second goalie behind Holtby? Cats are Wins and Shutouts
For me it's Binnington.

I think Grubauer has the opportunity to really prove himself as a top notch goalie this season. Binnington is a champion but also has to show us he can be consistent. I'm going with Grubauer just because I see them getting more wins than St. Loo. This is a tough one tho. I like Colorado but I do think the Blues have the better overall defense. So yea, Grubauer by a hair.
I like Binnington a smidge over Grubs, but I would be happy with either.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
It is now or never for Grubs. I have watched him as a back up to Holtby and a back up to Varly and than go into a playoff starter. He is capable of handling the workload and is a good goalie. He is also on a great team. It is his time to shine.
I like the potential of both goalies for this season but I will go with Binnington here.

I’ll put a vote in for Grubauer.

I think they are close, but Blues have a more defensive style, so more shutouts there maybe.
Plus I don't know enough about Francouz to say how good he is or isn't, but Allen is a known commodity that isn't good enough, so that's another point that has me lean Binnington.
