    Default Wililam Nylander breakout?

    Hi all,

Looking for thought on whether Nylander is poised to breakout and hat exactly that might look like? Put aside last year, he had back to back 61 points whilst still young. He will play with one of the best scorers in the NHL. On the other hand, might be some risk he doesnt get PP1 time?

Is a 25-45 season with around 200 shots a reasonable expectation?

Breakout for him would be to approach 70 points IMO. I think he can do it if he's able to stick in the Matthews sidecar for most of the season. I wouldn't worry a ton about PP1 - he might get some time on it but he's likely playing with one of the top 5 on 5 centers in the league. In terms of goals I would not expect any more than low 30s. You hope for 25 and any more is just a nice bonus.

With him being on a line with Matthews I think the sky is the limit for him. I could see him definitely in the 60 point range.

25+45 is a fair projection in my mind

Id be disappointed with 60 odd points as he's got 61 twice at a young age. I think 65-75 would constitute a 'breakout'. Anything less would be status quo.
