Larkin vs Atkinson vs Hoffman
1st league in sig.
I currently have Larkin penciled in as one of my keepers. But also have Crosby, Matthew's and Point.
We start 2 C but also have a F and Util spot
Not sure how I feel with keeping 4 C.
Current offer i have is
Larkin
For
Atkinson or Hoffman and a 4th
I do prefer Larkin but with my positions and the pick is it worth the deal?
I've also asked if he would do a 3rd. I am leaning towards Atkinson

I think you can do better than Hoffman for Larkin, man, even if you are stacked at C and the position isn't as scarce. I would prefer Hoffman to Atkinson especially for this year. I'd shop around. Getting Hoffman isn't a bad deal but I think you can do a tad better.

Larkin is getting really good. I think you can do better especially in a keeper. Hoffman is ok but aim higher and see where you end up.Originally Posted by kooter109

With that I also stick with Larkin. I like Hoffman and Atkinson a lot though. Do Larkin, Matthews, or point have dual positions? I feel like they players that tend to get it.

And actually as for stats, we are switching it up this year - taking away +/- and PIM and adding in Hits and blocks..... not that that makes any difference to any of the players in question

Definite no for me. Can't see Atkinson or Hoffman as keepers. Plus they're both nearly 30, and Dylan is 23. He'll be a ppg player either this year or next. If you have to move him, look for a winger (or d) that is closer in age/value.

I'd shop one of your other centers and get a high level keeper at another spot.

Yeah I would try to trade Matthews instead of Larkin for an upgrade on another position.

Keep Larkin. Worst case scenario you try and trade one of your centres in season.
