Forsberg/Krug vs Laine/Werenski
Hey guys, drop is near one guy is offering Laine and Werenski for my Krug and Forsberg
He asked for Ellis at first but switched to Krug saying he likes Laine and Werenski too much but is scared for unsigned contracts because he's tight on cap and I've got cap to spare.
I find that Krug is too much in this deal.
What do you guys think?
Is the deal fair or should I push for Ellis and maybe add a pick?

yeah that's harder than it looks, the double points for D really make the values change from what I would normally think. I think if you could do Ellis and a pick that would be the best bet, I actually still don't mind Krug + Forsberg either if he pushed, but seeing the signing hold-ups and his cap issues you should have a bit of leverage.

I'm taking the Laine / werenski side here. Looks like you aren't in win now mode and this will be a good move for the future for you. If be fine moving Krug instead of Ellis here also (but as the above poster said, you should have leverage and should try for Ellis)

I prefer Krug/Forsberg here, but if you can get him to do it for Ellis I'd be game.

Its hard to give Forsberg and Krug but I would actually do it. Go get Laine and Werenski. Both are younger and I feel that both have more potential than the two at their respective position.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Ended up accepting the trade, he wouldnt budge with Krug so I accepted.
Reading the comments it's pretty divided but I am in a rebuild after winning a few seasons.
So like some of you said I went with potential. And Werenski just signed for 15$ for 3 so that's very nice!

With Werenski’s new contract and Krug a pending UFA with a big pay day coming I think you did alright.
