Looking to start up a new 10-12 team dynasty league.

30 Majors - 23 Active (4C, 4 LW, 4 RW, 6D and 3 SKT) 7 Reserves

20 Minors (Less than 82 GP)

Categories are G, A, STP, ESP, PIM, SOG, Hits, Blocks, FOW, GP3, Even Strength SV%, SV%, and Saves

Slow Draft, 20 rounds of Minors first then 30 Rounds of majors.

Hey! Yes the minors will be used as an extended bench. There is no limit to transactions

Hey agravemistake93! I have some interest, possibly a friend too. What are STPs? Is that special team points (shorthanded + PP)? And I assume ESPs are even strength points? What are GP3? Seems some sort of games played stat.

Also curious on the values of each, mostly wondering how valued specific players will be in the league. As in, do guys like Tom Wilson have major value because they have high PIMs? I'm mainly wanting to join a league that has the best possible way of valuing players similar to their real life values. IE: McDavid, Crosby, Kucherov, etc., at the top of the league.

And lastly, you will do annual prospect drafts, I assume? I ask because I joined a league briefly yesterday that was going to do free-for-alls for future draftees. IE: you can draft Shane Wright now, lol. And I don't want any part of a league like that.

All great questions! STP are exactly what you said. A combination of power play points and penalty kill points. Same with ESP. Even strength Points.

GP3 actually stands for goalie points three. So a goalie gets one point for an OTL, two points for a win and three points for a shutout.

It is head to head categories so they don’t have “values” exactly. Let’s say you have Tom Wilson, he will most likely get you stats in Hits, PIMS and some points. Where as mcdavid will get you all points and FOW.

So you have to find a balance.

And correct. You can trade draft picks up to three years out and there will be a five round prospect draft every year. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you for the quick reply! I appreciate your thoroughness. Everything makes sense to me (very thankful you do a prospect draft after that weirdness yesterday). Just to confirm I fully understand; say I'm facing you. There are 13 categories. I need to win at least 7 of them per week to beat you. So getting a guy like Tom Wilson is valuable knowing he'll probably win you the PIM category most weeks. Is that correct? Thanks again my man.

Yup! We are trying to get to ten or 12. It’s going to be a long draft so basically as soon as the league is filled and I finalize everything on my end
