    i actually own both and just very curious based on what is Jones ranked higher than Bishop for you guys?

    didnt help him last year, and you can argue he had better team last year than this year...i also think Dallas is better team for this coming season...

    I think Dallas in general played over their heads (defensively) last year, and on top of that they are one of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL (which isn't going to change). I don't see Dallas making the playoffs, and as a result don't think Bishop's numbers will be as strong next year.

    Jones, on the other hand, plays for a team that I feel is still an playoff team, and arguably will be among the top scoring and top ranked teams in the NHL. As such, his numbers will reflect that.

    well i hope you are right...i dont see it tho. Jones been a disappointment for a while now...

    That's my view on the situation as well. Can't see a repeat Vezina performance.

    Without ratio stats, Bishop suffers a little bit in this format and Jones gets a nice bump due to the quality of his team. Like Bishop, Rask has diminished value because of the capable backups on their respective teams. The top 4 guys on this list should all see 60+ starts on very good teams.

    disappointing in some respects, yes, but the wins continue to pile up despite him being a sub-par goalie. I don't see that changing.
