    Default Keep 1!

    Hi all,

Having trouble deciding on a final keeper. 12 team league Points Only

This is a keeper league, but Im win now mode, priority is most points for this year.

I'm also thinking of trade value during the season, so that kind of weighs in. I think I'd prefer taking a risk as well, to go for highest ceiling possibility rather than safe floor.

Who do you keep? Only 1

    Getzlaf
    Granlund
    Schenn
    Drouin

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forums!
Assuming positions don't matter, I think Getzlaf would be my pick.

Schenn for me. I recently traded Getz in a salary cap league so value might be very different however Getz trade value is so low that if your looking for that value Schenn will have more. I also think Schenn should out point Getz bc Getz will miss time for injury

points only i think Granlund wins, Schenn is very close 2nd ...coin flip between 2 of them, i think winner of this gets 60 points..rest finish below.

I think Getzlaf still will be highest PPG but i dont think he play more than 70 games.

I like Granlund. I can see him scoring 60-65 pts in Nashville.

Depends what line Schenn ends up on. If he plays more on the top line with Tarasenko then he should win and has more upside. Granlund will likely have a bit more of a bounceback year this year, but still probably won't top 60-65 points.

Keep Schenn. He's your best bet to put up ~70 points. The rest I don't think come close.

Tough call, none of these players are top tier options. I’d probably lean towards Granlund personally

For points this year AND trade value, give me Schenn here.

I agree with Russian Rocket 10.

Highest upside player out of your 4 is; Drouin. 52pts last season. I believe his ceiling could be as high as mid 70's. I think you will see another uptick in point production this year.
    Modest guess 61pts.

Schenn and the rest of St. Louis are coming off a long playoff run that lead to their Stanley Cup championship. Also who is Schenn going to line up between could be another question mark.
I'd love to throw my support for Getzlaf but too injury prone and Anahiem's offence is in flux again this season.
If Granlund is going to put anything more then 55pts. That means Forsberg or Arvidsson are not working like they have for the past 2-3 seasons.

I'm worried about Schenn potentially not being on the top power play and Getzlaf has major injury concerns. Montreals system limits Drouin's upside.

I'd go with Granlund as I think he safely nets you 60ish points.

Serious question: Has anyone ever recorded 65 points in Nashville?

    I lean towards Schenn here.
