If my categories are G A Pt +/- PIM GWG, would you take Hughes or Kakko first overall?
I'm not really sure what exactly you're asking, but the Duquesne incline is pretty nice:

32 Team Keeper League
Dynasty, unlimited prospects.
$62 million salary cap (negotiate our own salaries)
Current roster:
Centers: Hintz, Eichel, Zegras, M. Barron, Schiefele.
Wingers: T. Thompson, Teravainen, Slafovsky, Duchene/J. Benn
Defencemen: Q Hughes, , Hamilton, Fowler, Borowiecki, Liljegren
Goalies: F. Andersen, Conor Ingram, M. Murray
Farm: Egor Sokolov, Jett Woo,
Skater points: Goals, Assists, +/-, PiMs, GWG, Points
Goalie points: Ws, GAA, SV%, SHO
If you are just going BPA, and you aren't worried about positions I would just take Hughes. By the looks of your signature, you are looking to add impact players at every position, so Kakko doesn't really give you an edge in that regard. I'm thinking Hughes ends up having a larger advantage in Assists and Points than Kakko will have in Goals/GWG.

Hi,
I'm in a keep-6 league.
My keepers are already set.
But we also have a 7th keeper, our NHL team, that counts points for W and OTL in the standings.
Teams are a free keeper, we can keep them as long as we want.
If we want to change our team, we need to take a new one during the 17-round draft, costing a roster player.
So the goal here is to pick a good one and keep it.
Currently, my team is EDM (I drank to much of the EDM-is-power-house-with-McDavid kool-aid 3 years ago...)
I need to find another one, because that could be a difference of 25-30 points by the end of the season.
Right now, the teams I know that won't be available are:
TB, BOS, TOR, PIT, WAS, NAS, SJ, WIN, STL.
--
Question:
Wich teams would you target this year knowing that I would want to keep it as long as I can?
I think 3 other gms could also seek for a new team (MIN, DAL, ANA and me).
So I would need a ranking of 4 teams to target.
--
Thanks a lot
REP to you!

Is this still going on? If so....
Who would you prefer in a multi-cat dynasty?
McKenzie Entwistle (RW - CHI) or Tarmo Reunanen (D - NYR)
At what time frame do you expect each player to be an NHL regular, if at all, and who will have a bigger fantasy impact?
Bonus question:
Are you excited for Tool’s Fear Inoculum? First album in 13+ years, title track apparently being released tomorrow. With such a long wait between records and all the hype surrounding it, I have a bad feeling that I’m going to be disappointed.

Jimmy Howard isn't great, so as long as you've got the goaltending depth to cover his loss (wins, saves) then I like the deal for you. Reilly Smith is a more versatile and consistent winger option than Buchnevich, and Batherson is a top prospect that should provide multi-cat value for years.

My prospect knowledge doesn't go incredibly deep, but one thing I would say is that NYR is absolutely stacked on the blueline when it comes to prospects: Fox, K'Andre, Rykov, Lundkvist, Lindgren, Hajek, etc. With Trouba, Skjei, DeAngelo already in the mix it's going to be tough for any defenseman to get prime minutes with NYR in the future. They are absolutely loaded with NHL-calibre prospects, so that would bump Reunanen down for me, despite it sounding like the organization is pretty high on him.
I would go with Entwistle here, and not just because he shares a last name with the late bassist from The Who. He was the captain in Hamilton for his last junior season before being traded. Both of these guys are going to be long-term projects, but I'll go with the forward. I think we are looking at least 2-3 seasons before any kind of NHL impact from these guys.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. I guess you aren’t a Tool fan?
Oh, sure I like Tool ... I forgot that part of the question, to be honest. I haven't really listened to much in the past few years, and then I heard all those stories of Maynard being a sex creep ... so yeah.
I definitely dig their music, but I wouldn't be getting my hopes up for this album.
