I cut Green.
He'll be hurt half the year anyway plus you have a good amount of value on the back end.
I'm one over the max roster limit following a trade, which one should I cut? Looking primarily at the coming season, and not further out than 3. This league also has a bonus for defence points, making them more valuable and scarce in FA.
E Staal
Zuccarello
Green

Curious which Staal, but I would keep both after Green. He's going to be hurt, and run out of town by all the young D taking over.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Pains me to advise you to cut one of my all-time fantasy favourites... Mike Green.
Man was he something else during those 2.5-3 prime years in WSH. He took over where Nick Lidstrom slowly left off. I remember going to bat for Green in these very forums ~10 years ago now calling out a PPG season right before it happened - in a time when PPG seasons from a Dman were few and far between (Lidstrom and Leetch did it once or twice in the decade prior). He won the lottery manning that PP in between Ovi and Backstrom. Then they drafted U20 USA hero, John Carlson, who was always bound to take over but I digress...
... And then the world was introduced to Erik Karlsson and the rest was history.

I dunno I might drop Staal Zuc here...minny is trending down...offensive D men are worth more and Buff, Edler, Green , and Weber are injury prone and getting older might be safer keeping extra D...unless there's comparables in FA. just my thoughts
Green no question. Even healthy, he seems finished

Not that I really need to chime in after Dobber himself, but it is "fluff" month so ... Mike Green is the obvious choice here. Not sure he makes it into December with a PP1 gig, or his health.
