He's probably going to be mainly 3C this year, but I'd guess he gets some occasional looks on a top-six wing here and there. He should have some decent wingers, guys like Vatrano, Connolly, Malgin, perhaps even Tippett or Heponiemi. Their improved depth should help Borgstrom at 5v5, and with a bolstered PP2 unit probably featuring Borgstrom, Trocheck, Ekblad, Connolly, Vatrano, or maybe even Hepo or Tippett.
I'm not sure I would expect more than 35-40 points at the high end, but that would be a pretty successful season for a guy who won't even really be coming into his prime for another couple seasons. He was already nearly point-per-game during his 24 game stint in the AHL as a 21-year old rookie, and his 18 points in 50 NHL games isn't all that bad considering his ice time and linemates were mediocre at best. There is still a lot of upside here, you shouldn't ignore it just because he isn't setting the league on fire right off the bat.
