OG dynasty draft

Hey gang, we start a dynasty draft today, 16 teams 4C,4LW,4RW,6D,2G,8 reserve, greater than 60 games played in the regular season and 20 minor. There is then a rookie draft. H2H
G,A,Pts,STP,H&B,TOI,C-FoW,PIM,SOG. W,GAA,S,S%,SO.

I will post the results and update as I can below. I draft 10/16 and will bold my picks.

oh man, I think I would've gone with Crosby or Ovechkin with your pick at 10. I can understand wanting to start a bit younger, but guys like Crosby and OV are still super dominant in multi-cat leagues like this. Crosby, in particular, plays such a cerebral style that he can be effective for a long time still. And Ovechkin ... he's still averaging 50 goals per season like the machine that he is. Tough to go wrong so early in the draft, and I like Scheifele a lot, but I feel like a lot of GMs overlook the established elite players in these types of dynasty drafts.

Agree with the Crosby pick. I might have looked at Marchand as well.....he would be a beast with these cats.

I don't think Scheifele was a bad pick. He's got some advantages over players like Crosby, Ovechkin, or Marchand. But debating all the little decisions is kinda just what we do here. I think Joker can handle a few suggestions here and there. Never hurts to listen to another perspective, as long as it's offered in good faith.

I like the Scheifele pick as well and the suggestions are always in good faith. I was just saying sorry and letting Joker know I won't be giving my opinion unless he asks for it.

Joker, I'm curious to know what is you 2nd pick gonna be. Looking at the first 10 drafted some might be surprised to see Barkov at 5th but Im not at all. Hes my favorite player in the league and I would reach to get him in every draft because I think he will become a superstar in this league.
Scheifele is a great pick at 10 - no regrets man

I would go with all with the exception of Kane. I love me some Kane but Chicago as a team kinda scares me. I’m also obsessed with youth and do trade slightly older players for younger guys, so Mayb not the best guy to comment. Would start lookin at goalies in the third round if u say u have a bit of a delay.

there are 20 minors to draft no 15:P constitution is not updated yet since this league filled up in 18h since i had an idea to run another one lol:P there is many of people in that pool that are quite active here btw:P
