    Default Morrissey Breakout??

Anyone else expecting a breakout from Josh Morrissey?
He gave us a taste last season with 31 points in 59 games.
Some might say that's already a "breakout season".
How long will Buff be around in Winnipeg?
How long before Morrissey is the undisputed d-man on the 1st PP and what kind of upside can we hope to expect?

    Cheers!

    shhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I didn't want anyone else to know.

Between me and you only, I'm confident a breakout is going to happen next year. With Byfuglien's injury history and Trouba gone, I'm very high on Morrissey. And at his salary, he will be a steal in cap leagues like mine.

So what you're really saying is that Morrissey will be a complete bust and that I should definitely NOT target him in the 2nd round of my keeper draft.
    Read you loud and clear.

I'm not as sure. He's one of the top options there now for sure, and as long as he gets the PP1 time, he should be able to thrive with it, but his supporting cast is just so diminished, that much of the responsibility will be on him which could make it tougher. Will be interesting to see how WPG rounds it out and how he's able to deal with it.

I could definitely see his minutes take a jump from about 22.5 to 25 min/game, and with Trouba and Myers gone he should get slightly more PP time (worst case is Niku eats into his PP time, but still his overall TOI/game should increase)... and if Buff gets hurt for an extended amount of time his share of PP time increases even more.
