Aaron Portzline had an interview published with Torts this morning. It's behind a paywall but I wanted to share this quote. Unfortunately Veini Vehviläinen wan't at all mentioned in the interview but Torts did throw some praise at Tarasov for attending development camp while trying to avoid critising Elvis for missing it.

Do you come into camp with Korpisalo as the No. 1 until Elvis proves otherwise?

I come into camp knowing Korpi better. I know he is a better goalie when he gets more work, not sporadic work. I know Korpi has shown up for us in playing every three weeks and he hasn’t pissed and moaned. He’s worked. His work ethic has improved. I know him better (than Elvis). I hear things about this guy (Elvis), that he supposed to be a really good goalie. I hear things about his personality. Korpi’s kind of a weird duck, too, ya know. I love his personality. So bring it on. Do I give Korpi a leg up? I guess I do because I know him better.

That quote sounds more or less like the status quo. I often think he basically hates goaltenders, and would prefer to not have any, but they're required.

I agree with this except I wouold switch "goaltenders" for "hockey players"
