I'll forecast he signs with FLA, 2yr x $3m, backing up Bobrovsky (who'll get 7yr x $8m).
[Lu retires, his "actual salary" next 3yrs is only $1.37m, $850k, $850k.]
[Reimer to be bought out?/traded?.]
There's been so little talk and rumblings about anything with regards to Varly. He "lost" his job to Grubbauer, but that kinda felt like the avs knew they were moving on no matter what. He's only 31, so there's still lots of good years left.
1) Where might he land?
2) Is he still a top tier goalie?

I think the follows a Halak track and signs on to be the backup for a competitive team for a couple of years to help keep the #1 rested. Top goalie, probably not, but could be one of those sneaky guys with 30 starts and good percentage categories who is more valuable than your full-time-but-mediocre guys like recent Cam Talbot, for example.

One of the teams is Edmonton.
In the right scenario I can see him being a top 10-15 guy, but he's always been a bit up and down. He's more of a mid range risk-reward goalie.

I think he is looking at a 1a/1b situation at best. Gone are the days where is he the uncontested #1. Barring injury of course. He could step up with an injury and carry the load for a while i believe. I think he signs a 2-3 year deal for around 3-4m AAV as mentioned. I also like the landing spot(s) as previously mentioned. Maybe throw CHI and the NYI in there as well as suitors?
