Is this true or is this more of an "urban myth"? I just graphed out the point totals from the top 180 forwards and the top 90 dmen from the 2018/19 season and the graph seems to say the exact opposite is true once you get past the first 4 or 5 dmen. If anything, the forward in the latter half of a 14 team league drop off faster than the dmen do. These numbers are just for the 2018/19 NHL season and I'm too lazy (or time crunched) to go through more years but I would imagine this is true.

I think goalies & skaters should be separate lists.
I've found you articles helpful, even though my one cap league has really loose cap rules.

FWIW I'll gladly make room in Frozen Tools for the new cap league goalie rankings!

Been looking into a few things after some more recent comments here.
-Trying to sort out forward vs D values, and they may be a little different for the next ranking set (or not - but I am diving into it).
-Goalie rankings are coming along well. I'm planning to have a number ranking system so they can be compared to the value of the skaters, while also providing a tier system for the goalies which can show some perceived and immediate value vs just what the numbers say, as goalies do fluctuate a lot and are harder to rank as a result.
-Unsurprisingly Carter Hart is the top goalie in my initial list.
Salary predictions are underway for the goalies as well. $6M right now for Lehner and Markstrom, $5M for Holtby, and $3.7M for Blackwood (Though I think with some tweaks that may go down a touch).
Anyone else have thoughts on things they want me to look into with it?

I love it when these rankings grown and in turn give me more work to do to keep up. Good stuff!

I am excited to see the goalie rankings.
My question is will Alex Stalock pass Carter Hart as the number 1 rated goalie before the rankings come out on late next month?
I think Stalock is going to be in the top 10, but not top 5 if the early numbers are anything to go on.

That will change if Stalock gets 18 more shutouts in the playoffs!
Haha it just might!
I wouldn't count on it though. There are some solid goalies at the top of the rankings that he would have to unseat.
