Should i make this Trade ???

Thanks in advance for your thoughts i have been approached about a trade where i would be moving my ehlers and a middle of the pack 2020 second round draft pick. in return i would get the 5th overall draft pick and the the 16th over all pick in the 2019 draft i would also receive Brian Elliot not sure im that thrilled with Elliot and would probably for space purposes ask him for another draft pick instead. this is a 12 team dynasty league multi cat. At first thought was no way but then i was thinking i also already have the 3rd overall pick in the 2019 draft. so in that spot i could draft gusev then with the the 5th overall i can choose from any of the guys left in this years draft or.... i can take guys like batherson,brannstrom,boquist,fox, ty smith,or dobson. So i guess basically would Gusev be a better option than Ehlers because that really what the trade would end up being about

I would take Brannstrom/Boqvist and 16OV over Ehlers. Try to get that 2nd of yours out of the deal or pushed back though.

Agree with EB - Ehlers is a good player but he is capped by the team around him imo

i own Ehlers and im still hope-full for much more but i think i would take this offer...and yes if Hughes and Kakko go 1 & 2 i would be taking Gusev at 3. With some of the guys listed here and the full 2019 class i think you get a potential stud at 16th as well.

I can't see Ehlers getting 1st PP barring multiple injuries and that's what he needs to take another step. He is also very limited in a multicat league such as yours.
I would take that trade

Gusev is a nice gamble, very much depends on how Vegas will use him. My guess is he wont be far from what you'd get from Ehlers

what do you guys think of the Elliot part of the trade do you think he would be of any value to me or should i asked for another draft pick of some sort in stead

Can you just drop him?
He's just irrevelant for me, it's a yes wether he's there or not. You can counter if you want, but there is always a risk he back off from the offer.

Maybe try
Ehlers vs 5th & 16th straight up or something like that
