If you can get Kakko for him, do it. I think he finishes in the 60-69 point bracket more often in his career than he finishes with 70+
Hey all! I'm looking to get some feedback on Max Domi. I own him in my league and I am wondering if his performance last year is repeatable for him or if selling high is the best way to go. He's still pretty young and fits in with my rebuild.
I guess what I'm looking for is a) is he a perennial 70+ point guy and b) should I try and use him to get the 2nd overall pick to get Kakko (I already own the first overall pick).
Thanks

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I don't think he is a perennial 70 point player, but he's a good bet to consistently flirt with 60. As for trading up, it would depend on what else goes with Domi (to get Kakko...). Worth a try for sure.
I'd take Kakko and not worry about what Domi does afterwards

I don't see Domi as more than a "throw in" in any sort of deal that could land you Kakko, but if you can swing it, do it!
I agree with the others: 70+ points will feel like a great season, 60 point range will feel normal, and 55 and under will feel like a disappointment.
I'd be awfully surprised if someone gives up Kakko for Domi, but now's the time to try!

After the deal you could probably re-acquire Domi for less than Kakko

is it really a good time to be trying to trade Karlsson?

That deal might have worked prior to this season, but Karlsson just had the worse season of his career and is plagued with a chronic and recurring groin injury that seriously depreciates his value, both in the real world and in fantasy hockey. I think you'd be smart to sell high on Domi, but I don't think the value is there with Karlsson atm to get both Dahlin and Kakko.
