I think lots of Canadians look at NHL players with their rose colored glasses. They often discount players from other countries and I think Joe Pavelski is a prime example of this.
I would have love to have him in the leadership core of the Flyers over the last decade! I still wouldn't mind if the Flyers traded for him right now!

Always thought Pavelski was the heart and soul of San Jose. Huge heart. Really impressed how steady a player he is year in, year out.
