    Default [Frozen Tools] Chart Generator

    Hey guys,

We just got a new feature off the ground. It's meant to be similar to report generator except instead of a table you get a chart with game by game results. Also due to readability reasons we are limiting this page to viewing one team's forwards or defensemen. We'll be inserting charts elsewhere (profile pages, player compare, etc) so there will be plenty of ways to get the comparisons you want.

At this point it's more of an idea than a polished set of tools given there's just two reports available. That's where you guys come in. If there's a report you would like to see in chart format, let me know. And if you really want it, keep asking. Not every idea will make it in but I'm definitely in this to bring value to the users.

    Check it out here: https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/...pool_chart.php

I don't like the current graph - too cluttered, too many colors.
That doesn't mean it doesn't have potential.

    Two pieces of advice:
    1. If possible, allow one (or more) selected player be in color... the rest in black, to start. That way a user can choose the player(s) to focus on.
    2. The line graph is too choppy, as it would by game-by-game stats. Smooth that out. If you could take that particular day's TOI + the 4gp (or 3gp, or 2gp) previous, then average them. Use that as the spot point data. That will end up averaging/weighting the data and smooth the curve/line per player over a season. "Trending", the key metric to see, can still be obvious as "going up" or "going down", since weight of most recent game TOI will impact.

Those two things would look nicer... if you could do them.

One thing I forgot to mention: Click on player names to enable/disable them. Select/Deselect All buttons are coming soon.
