When do you have to decide on keepers? It's possible he isn't in Winnipeg to start next season. Tough to say without knowing exactly where he ends up, but no matter where he ends up, he's a very solid multi-cat own.
21 points in his last 29 games. Solid stat stuffer in multicast leagues. Trouba still seems to be holding on to PP1 even wit Buff back. Is this going to continue into next season? At one time it looked like both Buff and Morrissey were ahead of Trouba for PP 1 time but now the landscape seems to have shifted.
I would love to hear some thoughts on Trouba's value going into next season and beyond.
Does he become a keeper now in a keep 10 like my team in signature?
Thanks in advance.

Hey Eskimo,
I have until next September to decide on keepers so I can see where things shake out with Trouba. He has been a bit of a surprise to me over the last few months. I basically got him for peanuts in both my fantasy leagues and then Morrissey and Buff went down and he has been killing it ever since (lucky for me). Now he is a definite keeper consideration in both my leagues as multicat stuffing D who can put up over 45 points are gold in these leagues (we roster 6 D per night).

Two more seasons of Byfuglien. It seems Chevy got this contract right. He's breaking down, but still very valuable when in the line up.
As long as Big B is there, everyone elses offensive value diminishes. That said, with his increased IR time of late.. that bumps values back up.
Wpg is hard to nail down.
before Morrissey's injury, he seemed to be stepping into Buff's role.
Now that both are out Trouba has run with it.
when Buff goes out again... who does Maurice turn to? Trouba or Morrissey?
They're all good options.
In a one year league, I think Trouba gets drafted too early. He's either a #2 or #3 option on the PP at this point.
and he won't replicate this season. His PP#'s and Point totals will take a dip.
Unless Maurice replaces Buff with Trouba on PP1 next season... but at 7.6m per, That's going to be a hard swallow
If he moves to a new team... well, a complete re-evaluation will be required.

I view Trouba as solid #2 and great #3 on my team. With Buff out he bumps up to a solid #1 and great #2.
Since you have until Sept you can wait and see if he is finally dealt.
As stated he may end up being in Wpg next season, going to be a UFA the year after and Wpg not going to let him go without getting any assets in return. He wants to be paid like a top pair D. If they figure they can't sign him good chance he is traded at the draft. If he is traded definitely a keeper as whoever gets him will be paying him as a top pair D-man.
