Would Kesler's hits make the difference it you taking that category?
Would not having Stastny's offence make a difference in possibly losing scoring cats?
Are you keeping either past this week?
Hey all,
First week of playoffs in a league that counts goals, assists, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW, hits, blocks. I'm going to drop either T Johnson or Ekholm (maybe both as they both will only play 1 more game for me this week) to add either Stastny or Kesler (maybe both). I'm winning 9-2 but I'm losing in FW and hits. Goals cat is tied. Both players have 3 remaining games this week. I prefer Stastny's situation, however, Kesler provides both FWs and hits, whereas Stastny only provides FWs.
I also picked up Silfverberg this morning. Other notable FAs: Rakell, Theodore, Vrana, C Miller.
Thoughts?
Thx

Thanks for your response Eskimo Brother. I think either one of these players could make the difference as we're very close in these categories and both players play 3 more games this week. I may keep them for next week depending on their performance this week.
If that's the case I would lean towards Kesler. You may miss out on a couple of points, but Stastny almost doesn't play after this week, so he would be a drop. Saving the move here by picking up Kesler initially means you could stream another goal or two later, and should help with the hits/fws if you're still close next week.
