Probably Hornqvist. Or one of the BOS goalies... Any reason you have both? Just to get every start guaranteed?
Team and league in signature
Gibson looks to be returning just in time for playoffs. Do I activate him? Who would I drop?

Ya I would drop Halak based on what their schedule is. If not....bye Hornqvist.
Ya I have both so that I could make my weekly starts, I'm also worried that they're splitting starts too much to go with just one.
Do we think Gibson will be at his beginning of the season levels?

Well he practiced yesterday and has said that he viewed the time off as a mental break. I'm not ready just yet to say he will be back to his MVP level play, I will be watching him closely tonight if he gets the start (which all indications are he will)
I have the same issue...
Start Gibson over Brossoit?
Might as well throw my hat in, depending if Rinne starts over Saros tonight, would you start Pekka or Gibson?
And who would you cut to make room: Voracek, Niederreiter, Kapanen or Hertl. Included my sig this time so you can see the squad, at least one or two of those guys would be in consideration as one of my 11 keepers... Odds are none would make it past the last round of cuts though.
Alternatively do I just start Rinne and leave Gibson on IR for another game or two to see how things shake out. My commish will not punish me for keeping a healthy and active player on IR

the problem might not be Gibson... the problem is more likely the team in front of him. They aren't any better.

To top it off the ducks traded away Montour who, deficiencies aside, was by far their most promising young defenseman and objectively a quality puck mover... Their pairings will be even less stable and they will almost certainly have a more difficult time bringing the puck out of their zone
I think it's a bench Gibson vs. Vegas situation

in real life I like Guhle better in the med-long term. Add in a 1st rounder on top of it? Anh had to make that trade. Maybe even if they were a playoff team, they still make that move, lol

Oh I'm not saying that it was a bad move, not at all! Just that in the here and now it shakes up their already below average d-pairings and NOT for the better. Long term I think they made a great move! I do still think Montour was the ducks most promising young defenseman, and simply because he's been in the NHL and shown flashes of top 4-MAYBE-top-2 potential I'd say he's more promising than than Guhle... But yeah main point is that replacing him with Guhle is an immediate downgrade for their D, regardless if it makes them better down the line
Sorry for all the edits on that last one... I thought I had made a mistake about who Guhle was but it turns out I hadn't.. lol
Thanks for the help folks!
Boston has a half decent schedule this week with CAR, FLA, OTT and Anaheim plays LAK on Sunday so I figure I will defer my decision until it becomes necessary
