As to pure offensive ceiling, I think it is
Makar/Brannstrom
Chabot
Heiskanen
For the near term, since Chabot's already shown production, he has the most value at the moment.
Branner is on Ottawa now which probably doesn't change much compared to Vegas. Lots of opportunity still.
How do you compare Brannstrom to the high-end offensive defensemen breaking into the NHL like Chabot, Heiskanen, and Makar? Where does Brannstrom rank in there?

right below Chabot, ahead of the others.
opportunity changes everything. he goes from fighting for roster spot in Vegas to fighting for PP time in Ott. if he has a good camp next year, I can easily see him slotting into 2nd pair, or sheltered minutes and either the 2nd D on PP1 or PP2. ott is going to be a mess for the next couple years, but Brannstrom is a huge piece to the puzzle.

Any chance we see EB up with the "big club" this year? I'm interested to see what he looks like...

I'm not sure this 'big club' would even be a top AHL club. If they call him up, you're not going to see much from him. Unless you want to see him defend down-low and try to break up cycles for 22min/gm.
Be curious to see Ott's possession stats from now to end of season. Has a team ever had below 40% possession for 25% of a season?

Unless Ottawa goes to a PP unit featuring two dmen (which I doubt), I don't much like Brannstrom's chances of being productive in Ottawa. I was more excited to see him running the PP in Vegas next year (I don't have much faith in Theodore and felt that Brannstrom would eventually steal the job from Theodore).
In Ottawa, Chabot is the first option for the PP and I don't ever see that changing.
I believe Brannstrom is a supremely-gifted offensive player, but in the NHL it is all about opportunity. In Ottawa, they aren't going to score much at even strength, and without PP time, I don't see Brannstrom having much fantasy value.

He was running PP1 at Belleville practice today with Brown - Batherson - Chlapik - Abramov. That's a young PP unit, even for AHL standards.
