Bowey was a big name there for a while. I would say this is a big price to pay for Jensen.

wow, has Jensen really been that good where a 2nd rounder + Bowey is his return? I guess it is a 50-60s pick though.

Bowey gets a chance with Detroit but he might be another Karl Alzner, meaning he's going to get paid at some point...

That seems like a hefty price to pay or am I still going off Bowey name value from the WJC? But even still, a 2nd Round Pick as well? Wow.

I've been reading high praise about Jensen for a while now. I think the positive chatter about him drove up his trade value.

Definitely love that return!! WOW! But also always loved Jensen's game. He's a perfect 2nd pairing guy who can play minutes and is barely noticeable because he always makes the right play.

I think Wsh was at 50 contracts, or 49, which would explain why a player was shipped out as well.

His stock has definitely taken a hit over the past couple of years. He was a big name coming out of junior but his offense never translated to pro level. Can still become a solid NHL player even without the offense, though.

His value to the team might be to develop a bit and fetch the team yet another draft pick at a future deadline
